Well it’s all up to Cindy! If she settles in then the kittens will probably do the same, they’re not a year old until the beginning(ish) of October so it’s just a waiting game

I got up and when I came back my place was taken. I let her sleep, coughing is easier when I sit

Thank you all for all the help and ideas. I’ve been out today to check on the situation. There are four kittens, but everybody is midnight black and snuggled up, so it’s hard to see clearly. They all seem to move around for suckling, which I guess is good. They have a box now, with a blanket, a yard away, partly behind a bush. We hope the cat will understand that it is for them. Neighbours have brought wet food, and the cat actually gets up to eat it.
My Mum is feeling calmer about the whole situation.

Always feels bad to leave Luna to go on a trip. But after some playtime and extra cuddles all seems well for me and my old girl now I’m back home.

Her Royal Highness doesn’t often hang out downstairs these days, but I think I offended her by making noise as I did some office organization and she couldn’t easily get away from my audio choice.
