Everytime I think of my baby Little O…. Markings and eyes are identical. He lived a very long life and had a fat twin brother, Big O (their mother came in long enough to drop off kittens and leave forever) Thank you for sharing his Dutch doppelgänger. I smile so big everytime.

Most of the time I give nova dry food but she’s had a couple rough days so I gave her some wet food as a treat and I think she really likes it… I’m Sure you’re supposed to be consistent with meals with animals but I think one day a week something different isn’t that big of a deal.. Also she has tried many different brands of dry food and she likes this Temptations brand the most but I think she knows she is spoiled and every once in a while she wants a different flavor or different style of the bag.. Got her This yellow one this time.. tasty chicken flavor. I’m sure maybe this is not the most natural type of cat food but then again this is way better than what she was eating before I started taking care of her I guess at least she has consistent food and a safe place. I love this cat
It has been really rainy and bad out today and normally when I get home if I leave her inside I’ll open the screen door and let her decide if she wants to leave and today she did not want to leave which I’m OK with that
I know one thing she is definitely caught up on whatever weight she didn’t have when I started taking care of her and now I think I need to have a consistent time every day where I feed her.. I’m not sure if I’m supposed to leave food out when I go to work if it’s bad weather wise and I keep her inside?.. I usually do keep food for her if I’m gone and definitely water , boxes to play with and toys

I think nova is adapting to inside because she is starting to become indecisive about going outside of course she still likes to climb trees and chase squirrels and stuff like that but more often than not she wants to stay inside when I go to work which is fine with me
Gaining the trust of my two cats helped me a ton when I was first getting sober. Pets are good for the soul and I’m glad she chose you.
