Thanks Alisa,the shower was well and truly needed, 5 minutes into the 50 min journey home he had a big accident in the carrier,poor thing,was trying to get out away from it,I couldn’t do anything apart from drive,couldn’t open my windows cuz it was pissing down with rain,car stank!! I ended up putting some cat chill out music on YouTube and it actually worked,hes clean and nice chilled now

Under the couch,behind the tele,under my bed,behind the kitchen bin and now hes under my shoe rack!!! I think this is going to take a bit of time,i think hes traumatised after today!

He’s such a cute little thing. He will settle eventually. It takes a bit of time for them to feel safe. Sounds like you’ve both had a stressful and stinky afternoon/evening… good job on sorting that out lol.

So first night ever of owning a cat went a bit like this,I can only decscribe it as being similar to having a smoke alarm that the batteries are running out in,every few mins “meow” loud ones quiet ones,hes still doing it now ,he has to sleep at some stage today!!! hes come out of hiding this morning

they are babies, they need so much body contact. that’s the reason i always have at least 2 kittens to give each other company
now i have 3 kittens and Elektra is extra needy for snuggling up and sleeping on me
