Oh boy! Learning by doing!
Second time it has happened. Thatâs on me!! No more Tony in the bathroom at bath time. Still too young to know better.
My 5 yr old female and 4 yr old male accepted a boy kitty and they are absolutely fine now. The first week i wasnt sure as they would hiss snd were all uncomfortable around eachother but they were not hurting eachother or scared and they all sleep together they are a family now. But at first i thought they wouldnt accept eachother and after 2 weeks it was clear they were going to be ok. Good luck.
Sweet ⌠my girls, love climbing in to cardboard boxes, shopping bags etc⌠I think it makes them feel secure.
Your cat is clearly absorbing the sun in order to maintain the orange color in the fur, which is a visual representation of his life force. If he doesnât do this then eventually his fur will go white and he will disappear into the aether. Basically, your cat is solar powered.
Iâm glad Tony is ok and is learning that cats and water donât mix!!
I canât help but have a giggle when l think back to an incident with my first cat đâ⏠Moggy.
She would always hop into my empty spa bath and drink the tiny amount of water that frequently collected around the plug hole.
One hot Summerâs night after l had a cool bath, l was asleep in bed, when l was awoken by a huge splash, followed by frantic skidding claws on the timber floors of the entire house!
It took me a minute to compute!
I had left the water in the spa to use in my garden the following day.
Moggy obviously didnât see or realise that the bath was full of water in the dark!
I donât know who was more shocked, her or l?
Suffice to say, she never did it again, and was very wary of water from then on, as you can see in the photo!
Two weeks!! That is great. We are at 2 months. ButâŚI remain hopeful. They were wrestling earlier. Not really friendlyâŚbut they were sort of playing!
Glad Moggy made a great escape. If I hadnât been right there I think the outcome could have been very bad. The water was deep and he was swimming for his little life. There was no place for him to climb out. AgainâŚI WILL be careful in the future. HUGELY careful!!
Poor lilâ Tony! Itâs a hard lesson to learn, but maybe he will still like water when heâs a grown up and can get out of trouble without your help (like my Moggy). Fingers crossed!
Itâs handy if they ever need a bath!
Rufus is a handsome boy. So sorry to hear that he is ill. Our cats are our family members.
My old buddy demanding some cuddles
He pushes his paw against my cheek to get my attention. Tried to make a picture of it but failed, this one must do
Have a good day catpeople!
Why wouldnât it be??? He looks so cool!
Whatâs the beautiful girls name?
Rosie! Not very creativeâŚbut mom was Rose.
Rosie is a nice name! I hope Rosie will fall for tiny Tonyâs charms very soon!
Ooo, l love those little squishy pink paw pads!
Little toe beans!
