No laser pointers hear. I read where they can stress your cat out. And I have dogs. So that would be a big mess and a big no!

As kitten mine loved chasing his tail. That was the best. He got over it after some weeks though. :pensive:

My Oldest Alice 14 plus. Every once and awhile chases her tail. She won’t do it for months. Then all of a sudden she gets kitteny flashbacks I guess :smiley_cat:

All right @Jennajen
I’ll try and make this the last one. Or post. At least for today.

When we got Daisy she hid under the couch in the guest house for a week or two. And she hated the TV noise. We had to quarantine her from the others when we rescued her. So we patiently sat and waited it out with her. But she was a nervous wreck when we brought her inside.
That’s why we like to have the scratching post condo with something for them to hide in. They like hiding. But with kittens it might not be such a big deal.

She’s my little namesake.

We run boarding kennels and cattery, they are well adjusted to eating together and being around other animals. Nothing dainty about our babes lol. Thankyou, I have to agree they are gorgeous. All different personalities but wouldn’t swap one

Sure, you can take my picture. But, you better be bringing me treats when you’re done.

Is that the cat with the hurt leg? How is he/she doing?

He’s doing great. They heal so fast. Eat sleep and heal magically. I wish I could do that too :pensive:

So good to hear. That pic looked really nasty. I love the orange spots on her back and tail. Cool markings. What’s his/her name?

His name is Mr Meow. He’s a little less than a year old. Still a baby. He’s off to hunt some poor unsuspecting animal now. He’s semi wild. We have a huge garden so he loves it here. This is his kingdom. I am just his food provider :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I’m starting to gather you like cats more than dogs??

Can’t imagine how you came to that conclusion :joy:
I don’t think I ever met a cat I didn’t love. I can’t say that about dogs. I love MY dogs. But dogs are very needy. I’ve also been bitten and attacked by dogs. For no reason. So there’s that.

Yeah dogs are cool. Very lovey dovey, very needy, too much attention seeking. I like cats because they are independent by nature. They are loners. Hunters. They will survive without us. We are just convenient food providers. Lol.

There was some guy I was chatting with who told me about his indoor cats. He had a pack rat infestation in his basement but he didn’t want to expose his cats to thier natural instincts. My only advice is let it be. Let nature take its course. Watch. Enjoy.

Oh dear, I’m the opposite! I don’t like all dogs but generally prefer them over cats anyday. I’ve come across aggressive cats that sunk their claws in me when I was little. Can’t remember why, but it was shitty enough for me to develop hatred towards them (yes, yes internet, go ahead and stone me and get over it!). Dogs are loyal whereas it seems cats don’t really give a shit :joy::joy::joy:

I’m sorry you’ve had dogs attack you :frowning:
I have so many friends that like cats so I’m working on my resentment.
