He is actually not that tall. His name is Noisy, because of his continual meowing in our garden when he was a stray kitten.

That’s right I forgot. I remember now. He’s the one you lost for a bit right? I think that was you. I would have been worried sick. Poor guy.

That’s right. Well remembered! He is an indoor cat now, but he spends a lot of time looking out of the window. Often meowing if he sees another cat or a bug.

In all our cats. About 16 of them over the years. Never had outdoor ones. I couldn’t risk loosing one.

I am in Japan, so coming up to 4pm. Wednesday is my day off so I am on a bit more than usual today.

Growing up we had indoor-outdoor cats and they never ran off. But lots of strays that are already established tend to run off newer cats around here. Fortunately the husband has relented and Noisy is 100% indoor now.

I am home. I needed to come home early. I couldn’t handle the stress of being at my sister’s house. It wasn’t my house so I can’t change the way she lives her life so I came home a week after the baby was born. I was sad to leave but my mental health was starting to slip and I couldn’t have that. 
I am only posting here because you are the only ones who knew I was going.
So now I am home with my girls and Ben🥰
He took great care of them. They are growing hugely and now are big enough to jump onto my kitchen counters🤦🏼♀️
Didn’t get any pictures last night as we were in bed by 7 Ben was sleeping on the couch by 5:30 after we ate and I was knocked out by 830 
he had been up since he went to work at 8 am the morning before and worked from 8am-4am then drove 6 hours to get me and drove home. She poor man was exhausted. Now he is working another double just like that because he took yesterday off to pick me up:disappointed:

Welcome home. Sounds like you made a great decision by coming home early. Protecting our mental health is the most important thing. Sometimes it takes tough decisions. But I feel you made the right decision here.
And I’m so glad I saw your happy little avatar face because I knew it would be kitten pics. Big kitten pics. It’s so much fun to watch them grow. Sorry Ben has to work another double. That sucks. But at least the 2 of you can be back together again and help each other out.

Meet Buts, I named myself here after him. He’s a 15 year old male cat and living with us for 6 years now. Got him from the animal shelter I worked for as a volunteer. Buts is a friendly guy but hates other cats. So when he meet one outside there’s at least a stare competion and sometimes a big fight
But he loves people though!

I just ADORE cats SO MUCH!!! My beloved cat Kitty, however, died 6 years ago of leukemia. She was the joy of my life, I just loved her SO MUCH!!! She was my teddy bear, my best friend. I would like to get a new cat, though.
