Where my Harry Potter nerds at?!

I think Neville is the greatest. I think after seeing the last film when you go back to earlier films you start seeing his importance. Is it the first one where he turns them in amdcesrns all the extra points for Griffindor?

At the time I thought Dumbledoor was just trying to make up a way for Griffidor to beat Slytherin but later I think it was that we were just beginning to see the importance of the character. He wasn’t just goofy comic relief.

That and when he said he had the hots for Luna… :couple_with_heart_woman_man:

Who didn’t have the hots for Luna?

That’s awesome! On my bucket list of things to do!

I still do! Lol

I totally think JK Rowling knew what she was doing when she put that in the first book. It is so important in Neville’s character.

Listening to all the books over again. Halfway through Goblet of Fire.

I re-read them constantly. Unfortunately I lent my series to a friend who has yet to give them back… and I’m itching to read them again.

My youngest is mad on the whole Harry Potter thing. I don’t think there is a week goes by where she hasn’t either got one of the books in her hand or she is watching one of the films.
I swear she knows it inside out, all the fan fiction, everything.

I never followed the fan fiction, but I am a bit like her on the rest of it. I’ve read the whole series through at least 9 times & the movies I’ve seen probably about 150 times each… before I was introduced to alcohol & drugs, that was what I used to cope, it was the world I escaped to. I am looking forward to going back to that

I am laying on my son’s bed and Sirius Black is looking at me.

@LittleAcorn and I are huge fans (I think she might be more than me though). She actually posted in this thread with some pictures of our trip to the Harry Potter world in Osaka, Japan. She asked me to take it down though because there was a picture of us drinking butter beer and she didn’t want to trigger anyone (it’s alcohol free and basically just a sugary drink, but it looks like beer).

I didn’t get on with butterbeer. But the kids loved it. And we just had to pay extra for the mugs.
I must admit even I was enthralled by the magic.

I couldn’t have the butter beer because it wasn’t vegan friendly but the pumpkin juice was ridiculously good!!

I agree! Though someday I want to listen to Stephen Fry read it just to see the differences!

Awesome! I have quite a few pics from universal studios theme park, they sold butter beer also. & we had a butter beer at the play, non alcoholic of course! It’s basically cream soda.
