I was born in Philadelphia, PA
This is absolutely amazing! What an awesome gift to trace your roots back so far…and I have say I see the resemblance when looking at the eyes of Sir Peter!
Just fantastic!
My husband and I honeymooned in Scotland in 2014…He fell in love with country (I was already quite besotted), and we have decided to retire there…if we are blessed to make it of course
Bonnie Scotland Forever!
Is that in the age of travelling gypsies then? Lol

Ok I’m 38,
I remember my parents listening to AM radio, in fact I remember the station WMBT Oldies 1530.
Oh and my grandmother and great aunts checking out their polkas
Without even thinking about it my am radio station in the 60/70’s was WLLH. Or WRKO. That’s pretty useful information I’ll never need.
It’s sad that terrestrial radio is dying, alot of small towns only got represented by the small AM station downtown or on the hill, at least that’s how it was around where I grew up.
I get that we are on to bigger and better, digital formats, hell even Sirius is losing money. But some nostalgia is nice
That’s how I grew up in small town MA. Each winter tuned into WLHH to see if school was cancelled. Otherwise unless I heard the siren I wouldn’t know school was cancelled.
Ok quite a bit before my time we had the TV winterwatch school closing & delay
Today both are extinct to text messages
