He retired last year, but heā€™s been working in a factory called Starsprings international. They was setting up a production factory in Brazil years ago, and he was in one of three in the team (except for the boss) that was qualified to help. My father knew all the machines needed and how to set them up properly. When he retired heā€™d been working on that factory for over 40 years, in all the lines, from mechanical engineering, electrician, production line, and in the office.

Before he went to Brazil there where three guys from Brazil coming to Sweden to learn about the factory, they came when we had the coldest winter about - 35 C, and froze so much in the place they where staying so Pa took them home

Iā€™d love to add you on Instagram, thank you :hibiscus:

They all spoke English, I tried to learn Portuguese but it donā€™t remember much from that.

They ended up living in our house so we talked everyday for a few months. They even made my birthday dinner when I turned 16 (unfortunately a long time ago) Iā€™ve never eat that much food in my entire life :joy:

Sweden can get really cold - 35 where I live (a little below the middle) isnā€™t to common but it happens. Usually the winter temps is around - 15 C. And the summer can go all the way up to
+35 C but thatā€™s also unusual, summer temperatures here is usually around +18-20 C and thatā€™s warm for us.

Almost everyone worked at the lab, or everyoneā€™s parents. At least thatā€™s how it was 20 years ago. I havenā€™t been back in 12 years, but when I was there last it was already super different. It was never my style, honestly. I feel very much at home in my blue collar steel town.
