I’m definitely going to carve a pumpkin this year… I’m just waiting to start seeing them for sale at churches and wherever else they’re at but I don’t think I’ve started seeing them yet? I remember in years previous they’re always in some fields by churches and similar places but I haven’t seen that yet! I’m excited to put one out by my door and hopefully it lasts a long time out there. I thought they would already be everywhere but maybe it’s too soon
Probably a week prior to Halloween is when they are discounted. Been too long since I’ve carved one.
Have fun with the carving. I like to carve both sides and that way the back end casts a shadow on the wall with the image in the back

I totally do Halloween year round!! I decorate my house w spooky stuff that stays up all the time, and I dress up almost every day by wearing my kitty cat ears!! I’ve got multiple pairs that I switch thru lol

I noticed this year more people are doing Halloween decorations than previous years. I’ve been living in this area on and off for 10 years and it’s way more festive ..if that’s the right word

Definitely! Saturday and Sunday I’m going to try to look online and see if there’s any places near me that have pumpkins yet and then Get to carving. And I might even try to carve out the back and put a little light inside like you showed me.. I think the churches and places like that might be another week till I see them but possibly grocery stores have them or certain ones

I talked to a few people at the sober house when I was walking back and we’re all going to try to carve pumpkins on the same day on Sunday we’re going to drive around until we find some!
Also I’m going to get some more decorations but for now I just put these gel things on my screen door but I put them on the other side so the rain won’t mess them up and I can use them in future years somewhere else! I’ve never decorated anything before for a holiday so this is cool and this is Living !!
I might get another pack of these same ones for my window in my bedroom! They’re pretty cool and it was only like four dollars
