TOO FUNNY! - I love it - glad you are having a pumpkin carving party – always fun doing it with others.

I am impressed with all the decor at the dollar tree here. May want to check yours out – some really cool stuff.

That’s a great idea! You mean the dollar tree like the one that is a chain or whatever and has the green sign out front and everything is $1.25? I love that place. That’s like a real dollar store some of them are not a dollar or way more than a dollar I mean lol. The dollar tree actually does pretty good for holiday stuff

Not to derail this thread but I was actually working for them in Tucson Arizona and I remember the day the price changed from a dollar to $1.25 and everybody was getting mad at me and I’m like I’m not making the prices lol

Anyway .. Grateful to be getting in the Halloween spirit and grateful to be alive and able to celebrate my life and do new things I never did before

yup - That’s the one.

Although now ours does have a $5 section in it. Most things are $1.25 - $1.50. Still a great deal for some of these decorations. Worth checking out.

Thanks for the suggestion I’m going to go there Saturday morning For some more Halloween decorations and I’m sure I’ll get a bunch of other random things

my brother just texted me Some decorations he put up in his yard and we weren’t even talking about Halloween so I guess he is in the Halloween spirit also !!

I saw the home Depot was selling large pumpkins for $4.98…thought of you. Can’t wait to see what you carve

Yeah and now because I said something to the community it’s probably a good thing because I can’t make excuses about not doing it lol.. Holds me accountable.. But truthfully I’m pretty good these days about doing stuff I say I’m going to do but my favorite thing used to be bailing out of anything .. it didn’t matter what it was.. My favorite thing used to be saying never mind

@JazzyS The grocery store that is about 1 mile from me says they have pumpkins! I was just there yesterday I don’t know how I missed it lol. Maybe because I’ve never carved a pumpkin so I probably looked right at them and didn’t think about it.. I’m going to go up there and try to find a good one !! I almost don’t even believe them but we’ll see here in a little bit if they really have them

If I can carry gallons of water back from there all the time then I can definitely Carry a pumpkin 1 mile!!

They didn’t have any medium or small pumpkins and I feel like I’m committed so I’m about to walk back with this crazy pumpkin down the street like an insane person

My plan is to do a normal Halloween face on the front and then my sobriety date on the back so it’ll shine on the wall behind the pumpkin and thanks to Jasmine for giving me that idea

Me and some friends are going out Sunday to get some but I didn’t want to wait. I’m going to get another one so if I mess this one up then it’s OK. I kind of wish it was half the size but that’s OK that’ll be more time spent working on this pumpkin and being productive

I don’t remember there being this many houses that were decorated last year like this! I was in the same neighborhood at the same apartment last year and it was not like this everywhere.. It’s crazy probably 30 or 35 percent of the houses are decorated.. maybe more.

I don’t know why I’m throwing percentages out but Obviously I’m guessing

I’ve been running different neighborhoods looking for Halloween decor this year and sadly my town just isn’t into it Found this house this morning and it made me so happy!
