Nice to be missed! I am around, sober and just super busy running my school. For most, summer is a time to slow down and enjoy. For me, it’s a time to double down to keep the students engaged in their training.
I scan the threads about once a week, but haven’t felt compelled to jump into anything, as this beautiful community has everything well in hand.

@Dazercat Hi Eric, thanks for checking in on me, ive taken some time out from here because ive slipped up a few times recently and feel i shouldn’t post here again until i feel more in control of my actions. My minds weak and i keep convincing myself im ok to drink when really im not. Its been becoming a bit of a pattern reapeating every 2 weeks or so. Im still determined and have been hiking more than i have in a long time. I enjoy it and i will be back once i have some decent sober time under my belt. Its good to hear you’re keeping busy and i appreciate your checking in. Thank you.

Keep trying. You’ll get there. Just keep coming back when you’re ready. I’ve seen many people on here come and go over and over again and then one day it kinda sticks. I hope that can be the case with you. Be careful out there. Miss your country side.

I havent been doing well at all. I relapsed hard and today my partner came out with everything he was feeling about my issues and that he doesnt know how to help me anymore. I know i need to get my shit together so day 1 again for me.. i just want to be happy and not have to continuously fight my demons

It is great to see you again. So glad to hear you are back with us fighting the good fight. As you know it is not an easy start but it does get easier. Keep with us. Keep working your recovery with support and a good plan. We are right here with you

Been busy with life. I haven’t been committed to complete sobriety, but hadn’t been doing too bad. Recent events have me recommitted. I was reminded nothing good comes from drinking. I’ll probably just lurk for a bit before sharing more. But I’ll pop by the daily checkin to say hi.

Hello my lovely friend. I am doing well(ish). I’m still here lurking in the background and stealing memes 
Have had to restart my journey recently, but putting more effort in now than I ever have.
All that aside, how are your beautiful fur-babies? I still have Abra and Cadabra, but recently I’ve had a stray ginger girl come around and she clearly wants to live here. She’s lovely but my girls are not impressed

My cat furbabes are down to 2, old boy Tiglatpileser was 19 when I put him to sleep in June. It was time, the kidneys gave up.
Miss Marple and Schimanski are 8 and doing great 
And I adopted a dog from the shelter 5 months ago, a lovely 56 kg cuddlebug who needs a lot of social training Now I have my big dog I’ve wanted for years
