I spent 40 plus years of my life drinking, drugging, gambling and just being an irresponsible “functioning” alcoholic. Today I have 626 days sober and I am trudging the road to happy destiny one day at a time! I attend 5 or more AA meetings a week and go to as many AA functions as I can. Getting out and being social without alcohol is something that has taken me time. I still tend to isolate but I fear that will be my downfall.
