Active in 12 step fellowship and jumping head first into recovery. After heavy addictions to heroin, methamphetamines, and always alcohol, I somehow managed to hide it from everyone. This, along with never losing a job or ever living on the streets fueled my belief I wasnt truly an alcoholic/addict until I finally accepted my illness was slowly destroying my life. I say this not to boast, and with utmost gratitude. My hopes is that if your reading, you may find similar experiences in your story and know that you are not alone

Today, I am working this steps and creating a sober network of others in recovery. Some days are easier than others, but with gratitude and a high power within me, I know I can manage this disease and live a life full of Hope, faith and courage.
