Jfrat

Since I was 13, I have always used some substance, now 35. I really have never experienced life without some kind of chemical dependency. Went from marijuana, pills, meth, acid, really anything I could find. I really had the attitude “Don’t knock it, until you try it” attitude that my uncle had when he gave me marijuana at 13. At 22 is when I joined the Navy and alcohol took center stage. Jump forward to now, I have a wonderful wife and two beautiful children who don’t deserve to have me drinking 12 beers, or a bottle of tequila. I even made excuses like men drink beer or dads drink beer like in popular tv shows. Tried to quit 4 years ago cause my wife gave me an ultimatum. 5 1/2 months later I realized I was cured and can be a man again. Now I am ready to quit for myself, and am ready to see what life looks like with no filter.
