I’m John. 56 yr old married male with 3 kids. 2 girls and a boy. I’ve been married 25 years as of 7/7/25 last month. My first 10 years out of high school were my worst. Drinking,hooked on crack and cocaine
Tge last 25 have been off and on with pain killers from 2000-2095 then adderal that luckily I can’t get very often and so I’ve been able to hold down a great job for 24 years. Most of my pain is not from doing the things I use to but just always relapsing twice a year it seems like for about a week and it’s so demoralizing and sad that I can’t stay on track. Probably because it doesn’t last or cause any problems in my life.
I also worked for a rehab for 3 years as recreational therapist which was awesome
