No horrifying rock-bottom story here. Just a rather unremarkable yet incredibly important decision to honor my body, my children and mostly my precious grandchildren. A little bit scared because drinking is what my family does whether together or apart. It’s what we’ve always done. But after several years of trying to moderate and failing, it’s past time that I prioritize my health, my future “golden years.”
