I’m Mark, I’m 35 from the UK, I had been partying hard for 10 years whilst somehow managing to hold down a job until 2016 when I quit for 4 years, then from 2020 onwards I relapsed and my alcohol and cocaine use gradually got worse and worse, now it’s every weekend again excessively to the point where I’m struggling with money and struggling in work, I’ve made several attempts to quit recently and relapsed not long afterwards, but I’m not giving up, February 20th 2024 was my day 1 back in recovery. I’m trying to immerse myself in sober literature and podcasts as well as working on impulse control to help make sure I never relapse again
