I crashed on the 9th of July. Broke my arm. Compound humerus fracture. Heavily intoxicated.
After two surgeries my arm is not the same. It’s seized in a crooked position. Started bleeding last night. I think a staple may of popped out.
Good thing is I’m more mobile and alert this time around. Haven’t abused the pain meds either.
Haven’t had a drink or done heavy drugs 20+ days.
I’m on a bit of a winning streak although I have a heavy reminder right now…the bandaged mangled arm.
I feel good knowing that I’m not drinking. Albeit the cost of my arm. I don’t miss the hangovers or drug comedowns and dealing with my regrets. Have a bit more cash now days too!
My bpd isn’t nearly as bad. I’m pretty ordinary and humble compared to me before the crash.
