20 days milestone reached

Today is day 20 of sobriety,

Feeling thankful for having access to the community and all the messages :heart_hands:

I have done more with my life in the last 20 days than I have the full previous year, wish I done this earlier but everyday life struggles are not easy to ocercome, I even look in the mirror now and I can see a difference in my appearance, family and friends have reconnected with me.

We are all born equal nobody is better than anyone else, there’s no need to be ashamed of your addiction the best thing you can do is speak about it :heart_hands:

:heart:Sometimes a breakthrough comes after the biggest breakdown of your life, believe and never give up  love this

Keep the sober days coming everyone

From the Daily Reflection
AS BILL SEES IT, p. 184

In keeping with the pain and adversity which our founders encountered and overcame in establishing A.A., Bill W. sent us a clear message: a relapse can provide a positive experience toward abstinence and a lifetime of recovery. A relapse brings truth to what we hear repeatedly in meetings – “Don’t take that first drink!” It reinforces the belief in the progressive nature of the disease, and it drives home the need for, and beauty of, humility in our spiritual program. Simple truths come in complicated ways to me when I become ego driven.
