I’d love to do this. How long does something like that take?
Probably save a lot of time not stopping in pubs.

Cool :ok_hand: you should come over here we expect to get rained on :joy:

Several miles around Ruislip Woods (Mad Bess, Copse and Lido beach :beach_umbrella:). It was so so quiet

@acromouse photos especially for you

Currently passed half time. I am confident I’ll get home before it’s getting dark.

Update: made it. Almost 44 km in 8h. Prove of principle.
Still can walk longer distances. No pain :sunflower: Only two blisters. No hurting feet. And like a real recovering addict, blisters had to be opened. :zipper_mouth_face: But we won’t complain now.

Gorgeous.
My Mum taught music at West Ruislip Elementary School. If that’s what you call it. Elementary School. Is that near by?

Wow I never knew it was even there. Yes it’s very nearby to there. It closed in 2006 it seems.

Were you here as a child?

I lived in south and then East Croydon at 18/19

But she taught there maybe in the 90’s. She worked as a teacher for our department of defense and taught school to the American children all over depending on transfers. But I don’t think there’s a base over there but that was her last transfer. I think it was a mixed school with American children. I was busy in Texas raising my babies, children, not cats :smile_cat: and working. Never got over there to see them then.
