Yesterday was the longest day of my hike 18 mile and the last 5 miles was all up hill but the scenery is beautiful wish I had a better camera on my phone

I am always wondering if following the signs from somewhere around here in Germany would really work until Spain.

Short beautiful Sunday hike in foggy weather :face_in_clouds:

Couldn’t take the fog anymore. Took the train a bit and walked back home.

I am grateful that I could do the 27 km painfree in the Altras. Had some ‘maybe running in these shoes is possible again’ thoughts. Idk.

Eight mile circular:

Finsbury park - Parkland Walk South - Highgate Wood - Parkland Walk North - Ally Pally - Hornsey - New River Path walk - Haringey - Finsbury park.

This section between Crouch Hill and this Spriggan is said to be the inspiration for Stephen King’s Crouch End…

Have you walked the Capital Ring around London? If not, I really enjoyed it and it comes with a great guide book that tells you all sorts of nifty little bits of history and trivia!

Parts of it…… currently I’m completing the south coast paths and have a few sections to fill in. Which leg of the Capital Ring did you enjoy the most?

It’s been a while (almost 10 years) but section 11: Hendon to Highgate was very nice, because I love that part of North London and Highgate forest!
