21 days sober from alcohol

I was fired from my job a month and a half ago as i did not show up at work in a week. I relapsed after 6 months and when i got fired i started drinking 2 bottles vodka per day for a couple of weeks. I tried suicide by hanging and my house was raided by the police and fire departement twice in a few days betwween due to that.
I was driven by the police to detox 3 times but i left immediately upon arrival. The 4th time i was referred to detox , i met a doctor who convinced me to stay. This was 21 days ago. I stayed for a week I am still sober, nothing bad has happened to day .

The hospital took some blood samples and my b-peth was 5,2…

It is better. I have stayed at moms house the whole time after detox. I am afraid to be alone with all thoughts and anxiety

It’s wonderful that you have the love and support from your family, and this is a great time to enjoy it; are there special holiday traditions that you’ll be doing together? And if I remember correctly - are you guys enjoying fika??

It’s good to hear you can stay at your mom’s. We need an support system and family for me is a big part of it. So is this forum here. There are so wonderful, helpful, wise, amazing people on here sharing their stories and inspiring and encouraging me.

We can relapse and we can learn from it.
We can fall but we can get up again and fight.
We can’t do it alone but we don’t have to do it alone.
Stay with us.
Keep yourself accountable.
Take it one day at a time, one hour even one minute at a time and reach out when ever you feel like it.
Wishing you all the best on your journey into Sobriety.
