24 hrs! Finally!

It’s been ages since I managed 24 but I did it! My eyes look better already! I’m starting with the vivitrol shot next week yet currently trying to take naltrexone but it makes me so ill!! So I’ve cut the pill in half. (I’ve had the shot before and no side effects!) just of few more days of feeling yucky until I can get the shot. Better to feel yucky from a pill than from drinking!

Naltrexone made me feel awful too. I had to start with 1/4 pill. Found it worked though

Yes! Vivitrol, out patient treatment and AA! Plus slowly getting back to the gym, volunteering at my church, eating well, lots of prayer and counseling.

Dang got 4 days then slipped ugh! But today is a new day! I don’t have to drink today! I can eat cookies or ice cream sandwiches if I want to! I’m tired so idk what I will do today at least walk my dog and try to stay home! If I leave the house after 3pm it’s normally all over then. I felt so good after 4 days no wine! I want that feeling back!

Only you can get that sober feeling back. Can you do an AA MEETING or some sort of recovery to fight the relapse in the future? I’m rooting for you. Remember if you felt great with 4 days sober how great you would feel with 5.
