If you are going to be my new sober family I guess you, guys, should know something about me:

:christmas_tree: I’m 33 years old.
:christmas_tree: I’m an English teacher from Siberia
:christmas_tree: I’m married, my daughter is 9. We have two dogs , three cats and a lizard.
:christmas_tree: My nickname here is Norma, cause I’m a fan of Merilyn Monroe and this is her real name.
:christmas_tree:When I feel sad or anxious I watch the Bing Bang Theory
:christmas_tree: I dream to visit Italy
:christmas_tree:My dad died of cirrhosis when I was 7 and my mum ended up in intensive care several times during my childhood but those things didn’t stop me from drinking
:christmas_tree: I have never tried drugs. ( THANKS GOD)
:christmas_tree:My biggest aim is to stay SOBER as long as I can

Well, now you know a bit more about me, my sober family . Im gonna to be sencere and honest with you and myself on my way to recovery :mending_heart:

Hi​:heart: I spend all my days working this week. Lots of lessons and some events at work, so I hope to survive :joy: Hope, your Christmas days are going better :grinning:

Ahh working is keeping busy so that is helpful even if stressful at times. You will have to learn to manage those feelings of stress and events without a crutch which can be hard at first but eventually you get stronger in those moments too. Sober life really changes us in many ways for the positive. I feel like a whole new person now and deal with things a lot better than I used too. Well done on getting through.I find Christmas quite a challenging time for stress anyway but one day at a time as they say.
