365 days clean and sober

Celebrating my 1yr clean and sober today. This is my 3rd time round and so grateful. This time seems much more important as I have learnt a lot from my past lapses and also put in the extra effort towards my recovery now.

I’ve always tried to do this without practicing the 12 steps and now realizing that was my downfall. I worked recovery at 50% and achieved great things over my 8yrs in this. I can only imagine what my higher power has planned once I apply myself 100%.

I am in NZ and open to meeting others in recovery. Needing a sponsor also. Thanks for creating such an awesome space to share.
