It’s been a long while since I’ve posted anything, but I have come back from time to time to catch up here and there. Ive recognized some old user names and I have seen a whole lot of new ones come by and I want to tell you all how proud I am of each and every one of you. Whether it is your day 1, day 100, day 1000 or year 5 etc… your accomplishment is remarkable and do not ever let anyone tell you otherwise. Even if you stumble and fall down and relapse once, twice or 10, those days sober of not all for nothing. They are yours to keep always. You can and you will achieve whatever you choose to do in your life and no matter what anyone says you are worthy!
With that said, I decided to stop in and post that yesterday November 18th I celebrated my 4th sober anniversary. I can not believe it has been 4 years since I quit the boozing each and every day. It has simply changed my life for the utmost better. There’s still days the tingle of having a glass of dry red does cross my mind, but it has become less and less.
I have recently become a Grandma and I cannot be more over the moon than I am.
I also turned 50 a few months ago and have been working with a trainer to achieve some goals in my fitness journey.
2 of my 4 kids are now engaged.
My hubby and I also quit drinking together celebrated our 11th anniversary last month.
I also write a blog about my sober journey and really would like to share it with all of you to read, but I wasnt sure if that was allowed… its on a different site… may I do that? Please advise moderators. Id appreciate it. I dont want to do anything Im not suppose to!
