5,312 beers, 478,080 calories I would've consumed (conservative estimate)

This is a very safe estimate on what i would’ve drank had i not quit 332 days ago. A day of me being “good” was 16 beers, i drank at least that amount every single day. That’s a lot of poison I haven’t put into my body. Math comes out to a little over $5,500 saved.

I cant even drink 16 glasses of water a day. Crazy how we prioritized alcohol over literally everything else. Congrats on 332 days :+1::sunglasses:

That’s like 1 beer for every hour you’re awake

WOW :fearful: I bet it’s a good incentive to see those digits. Congrats on your sobriety, almost one year! :fire:

A no work day was always 26-30 beers…

you aren’t kidding… i was really good at beer math. I can have x amount of beers and still be soberish enough to do whatever it was that i couldn’t be drinking for. In the end the drinking was just to keep me from being sick.

We could have been active alcoholic bffs…very similar to my intake…

Congrats on all that time and money saved man.

Those are some impressive numbers you calculated/not consumed haha

In Australia that amount of beer each day, over 332 days equals a conservative $13,000
If you actually bought nice beer, or drank just a couple more than that a few days each week you’d easily hit $20K+

I just did a rough estimate myself; about 1300 beers, 119,000 calories, and $2200! Man, that brings it home!:grin:

@Nordique those are big numbers for sure, I’m glad that shit’s over.

@Naomi. Thanks, i still have a way to go but if all goes well I’ll hit that year and many more!

@anon79808082 I don’t mean to judge but i think you had a problem with alcohol :joy:

120 drinks, $365 in 15 days. Yeah, puts it into perspective a bit!
