5k a day in May

@poppyfairy and @les how I wish I could join you! But I am getting a lot of motivation and excitement from seeing your progress. And I have to say, you two are fast :man_running: :woman_running:!

My legs are super tired today, I dont remember when last time I was running 4 days in a row. I will probably do some Zone2 slow run tomorrow.

I ran at 6am and at 9am I had cardioboxing with a looot of bag kicking included. Fckn hell, my legs are on fire now  I will try to move as little as its possible today but having little kids, I don’t have big hopes for rest.

We made it to whole week of 5ks a day! (I say we cause I strongly believe you won’t abandon this challenge now). Tomorrow I don’t have work so I can run after bringing kids to school, which is nice. I like starting a day with a run but I also like to drink my morning coffee in peace and with no rush. One of the reasons I like early morning runs:

I’ve never ran in the morning before, but three of my runs so far have been before work and I really enjoy it. Got up at 5 this morning but fell asleep on the couch lol, luckily only slept 40 min so I wasn’t late to work :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Let’s keep it goin! :sign_of_the_horns:

My motivation today was very low. My husband is discouraging me saying it’s too much, no rest days, why I’m even doing it blah blah blah… He doesn’t understand shit. I explained him all this endorphins, satisfaction, discipline, self-control, dopamine stuff but all he see is that I don’t want to stay with him till midnight and watch some movies which is absolute waste of time for me.
Anyways, I’m still here. I took it easy today, low heart rate (zone 2) run.

You have such wonderful views for your runs. Glad you hit the pavement despite the naysaying :sign_of_the_horns: today was tough but I was motivated by your commitment to the runs so thank you for the push! :sign_of_the_horns:

I had cardioboxing yesterday evening and today morning my legs felt super weak. Not even heavy, just weak. I was even considering to walk last km but I pushed it through. I just hope I won’t overdo it and destroy my knee (it happened before)… It’s only one month, we can do it :flexed_biceps:t2:
What is your usual running routine? How often, what kind of distance?

Ps: yeah I can’t complain about the views  I live in the small village, there are fields all around, river, canals, a lot of animals… And fresh air (well, sometimes it stinks like shit (literally) cause you know, farmers stuff

@les did you take a break? There is nothing wrong with taking a break, I’m sure I will do that too at some point. Please don’t give up! I hope you are not injured
