Today marks 60 days sober from cocaine. To be completely honest, I don’t feel any different. Yes, my Sunday scaries and anxiety are no longer a problem because I quit using cocaine on the weekends. My mental health has improved drastically. However, every weekend, I struggle with the temptation of using cocaine because I’m a social butterfly and enjoy the social nightlife. I need to keep reminding myself that this is good for me and that it’s going to be beneficial in the long run. I need to be kind to myself and continue this journey for myself. …. So here’s to 60 FRICKIN DAYS YALL !!! ![]()
Congrats on reaching 60 days of freedom from cocaine Liss! That’s huge! I understand how cocaine and going out have become so intertwined for you. There’s a connection there that needs to be broken somehow. You need to rewire your brain. And indeed maybe you need to find other ways to enjoy your social life. BTW, I see some huge changes in you already (which is always hard to see in ourselves). You say your mental health improved drastically. That’s something big! So please keep going and keep improving friend. You’re doing great!
Stellar 2 months of hard fought work! ![]()
We can’t stop now cause all the new & good stuff is up ahead. Going backwards gets us nowhere but right back into misery land.
Happy 60 days free!
I agree with mno it may help staying away from triggering situations and trying a different social scene. The hardest part of getting sober, outside withdrawls was to find joy in new settings. Change is hard but is well worth it
Congratulations! You are doing amazing! ![]()
Congratulations on 2 months!!! Thats extremely impressive!! Eventually the cravings and urges to use on the weekends will decrease. I used to get triggered during paydays for example, and now they no longer phase me. Maybe u could do something else on the weekends? Something u really enjoy that can replace what u used to do ![]()
You’re absolutely right!
Congratulations ![]()
You made me smile.

Keep going, the cravings will fade and change with new routines.
