today is 7 days sober and i just attended my first AA meeting. i was so nervous about going to the meeting, but it was so so great. i’m really glad i built up the courage to go, because i know this is something that is going to be beneficial for my sobriety. i’ve been really struggling lately, but i’m feeling very proud of myself right now. i hope you all have a wonderful day/night wherever it is you are

I think the fact you finally got your ass in a seat at a meeting deserves even more congratulatory fan fare. That’s huge. A lot of us have been there. Fear of walking in to those rooms. Great job.
