Hello all on my 7 month of sobriety feeling good, still not getting much done but still sober just the same. Continue the good fight of sobriety! Hope everyone is doing well

Congrats on seven months! That’s something to be proud about. What is it that you would like to get done? Speaking For myself sometimes the hardest part is getting started with something whether it’s a hobby or a chore or whatever but sometimes I just have to make myself get up and at least try. Move a muscle change a thought. It took a long time for me to realize that I can’t wait for the right or perfect moment to feel like it.. Plus I always feel better afterwards if I push myself. I’ve learned that my feelings don’t determine what happens. I might feel down, tired or distracted but it doesn’t mean I have to act like that. All it takes is a little bit of momentum and then you start seeing results and you keep pushing on from there.

You’re not wrong. The hardest part is starting. I had been doing yoga and stretches, and exercising a little bit, and I truly truly even the little bit, I was doing, it truly noticed a difference. And I don’t know, somehow I fell out of it, I fell out, I fell out of everything

Right now I’m trying to get my depression and anxiety down to manageable levels

Wishing you luck with this. Are you working with a therapist / doctor to help with your depression / anxiety? I do find that yoga, deep breathing exercises and can help to some extent. You are not alone friend. Keep putting in the efforts :hugs:

Yes it is my shrink has me on Wellbutrin xl 300mg it seems to be working so far
