Hellooo party people! Just popping in for a quickie hello. Last week was 7 years of continuous sobriety for me. What a beautiful life it is. My formerly gray life continues to be in technicolor. This time of year, Oct, blows up with vibrant fall colors. I never appreciated the leaves before I got sober and each year now it blows my mind. I was recently asked to share with a group something I did that took courage - I sobbed through sharing that getting sober was and is the most courageous thing I’ve ever done. I stand by that.
Although my sobriety date is 13 Oct 2018, there is an old thread on here from 1 Nov 2018 when I made my first post saying I was about to go to my first AA meeting but that I was scared. I received so much support, encouragement, and accountability. What a gift. This forum and all of you are part of my journey. If you are new or coming back, don’t quit before the miracle happens.
