Actually, 95 days… oops. I feel a thousand times better than I ever have before. I sometimes consider giving in and maybe having a few beers, but I haven’t yet. I go to AA meetings and hear people talk about years of sobriety and it inspires me to keep going. To keep counting. I know that a thousand drinks is not enough and 1 is too many. I don’t think about “never” drinking again, I just try to make it through today without.
