Hey pals. I was randomly thinking about Bam Margera and how he was doing these days.
For those that don’t know, Bam is a pro skateboarder/ reality tv star that suffers from our disease.

Thanks for sharing. A while back I watched the documentary on YouTube about Steve-O’s addiction and rehab journey. That was some crazy stuff.

I also like what he said about rehab being like a gym. Just going isn’t enough. It’s how you use your time there that matters

I’m sure. And that’s just the crap he remembers.
I heard Steve o on a radio show. the host had this whole story how they met and partied together for a whole night. Steve o had zero recollection of this

I was in rehab with him way back in the day. A year or two before Jackass came out. I would say about ‘94 or ‘95 in South Florida.

Steve-O has his own YouTube nowdays and he seems to have got his life a little more together, eating healthy and ao on. In one episode he’s cooking with Gordon Ramsey. Bam is in som episodes too. But gosh the age anxiety I got when I realized how old the two of them is nowdays. I used to love Jackass back in the days

Heard the same about Bam. “Jackass 4” is in the works, and a big part of his involvement is contingent on him keeping his shit together. Steve-O was in that boat when they made Jackass 3.
I’m fairly certain that Novak works in a rehab full-time now. Last I read, at least.

Wow. Props to Steve o. He’s looking really healthy. I remember when he got sober and he was a shell of a person but he seems to be doing so well now good for him 
Just because we were literally talking about Bam 3 days ago…
Just saw a video of him ranting, he does not look or seem well at all. He’s 41 and looks about 60.
Just very sad.

That rant video he made was truly sad.
Playing the victim and claiming nobody ever cared was the epitome of addict thinking.
EVERY SINGLE ONE of those people he slagged off (and more) care so much, and clearly still believe he can get sober, but needs a lot more than just friendship, understanding, and hand holding. He needs tough love and his arse kicked.
We should all have friends as good as those.
EDIT: His latest update is that now he’s self-diagnosed bipolar and that’s the cause of his actions, not himself and/or whatever cocktail of drugs/meds he’s on.
Seems to think this is his silver bullet and that everything’s gonna be rad from here on.
Pretty sure it’s not gonna be that easy Bam.

Damn. I just watched the original rant and then the video that @AyBee shared. You’re not lying he looks about twice his age. That was hard to watch and I hope he gets the help he needs.
Big Steve O fan. A friend of mine briefly dated him but I never met him.
