So something Ive been focusing on over the last year on my journey is being my authentic self. My addictions all came from a place of trauma and insecurity. So ive been working on loving myself the way i love others (intensely and unconditionally lol)
Ive worked on a lot of deep internal stuff. This one though is more of a visual insecurity and a fun change to go with my changing life.
Im naturally strawberry blonde. Heavy on the ginger side. I have a looooot of Irish in my family. Ive been dying my hair since i was 12 to hide it. I havent seen myself with just my natural hair color since literally 6th grade. Well the last few months ive been growing it out and leaving it alone. It finally grew enough for me to get my roots matched!!! So. I got it done today. At first I really really hated it. I wont lie. But i want to embrace being confident in myself and trying new things. So i full sent it and now I’m a leprechaun.

Thank you!!! I really hated it at first. I was like nahhhhhh i made a mistake. But as the day went on i got a lot of compliments and my friends and family said it makes my eyes look bluer which was cool (color theory- makes sense because theyre contrasting colors)

Looks great. My mom and one of my nieces are both natural redheads. Their Irish side showed through in a mostly Italian looking family. They stick out in the most beautiful way.
I LOVE THAT thank you. What is so funny is my mom has brown hair and brown and green eyes. My dad has brown hair and green and gold eyes. Some of my siblings have light hair. Like dirty blonde. But no red and no blue eyes. But i have 4 great grand parents (of the same generation) that had blue eyes. Only one of them had red hair to my knowledge haha. Genetics are so wild. When i was little I’d always ask my mom and dad if i was adopted lmao. Now that I’m older I VERY much so look like both of my parents lol
