A New Milestone

On Friday I recieved my 90 days key tag in NA. I’m filled with gratitude because without working my program, doing the steps, checking in with my sponsor, and the WE not I in my recovery I know I wouldn’t be changing my life.
Role call…how long have you been clean and where are you from?IMG_20180810_193429_896|400x500

Any helpful advice CaptAZ?

321 daily reprieves here in beautiful Northern California. Much love and Congratulations to all that are embracing a daily program of sobriety. But for the grace of God go I.

The best piece of advice is to not pick up a drink no matter what, pick up the phone and call someone who cares. If you have a good sober support network, help is only a call away.

After that, get active in any type of volunteer work. Do something for someone/something else that does not compensate you, something you don’t brag about. Getting out of yourself and into someone else is very therapeutic, it’s like making deposits into your spiritual bank.

Don’t compare yourself to anyone. Sober or otherwise. Life’s a big exam and you can’t copy other people’s work because we don’t get the same questions.
