This is beyond comprehension. All kinds of feelings running thru me…I’m stopping it and starting to live in the moment and with clear head. I’m accountable and just hate being that different person during active addiction. Bored and ashamed of writing this here again and again. I have a good life, always could be better of course but also it could be much worse so I need to remind myself to appreciate all good things and people in my life. Yes I’m kind of lonely and without partner. But I know I won’t improve a thing on this matter while drinking… Thank you fellows, if only for reading… whatever comes to your mind, appreciate you put it into reply. Thank you

Yeah this stuff can get so damn hard but I’ve learned that good times come back round a lot quicker in sobriety. You can get back there soon enough.

Did it! For me it’s the first step very hard! Had a very decent sleep, and with regular activities (going here, keeping journal, sports, breath work, meditation etc) I’m confident NEVER and FOREVER is a quote in it’s right place. At the same time I do realize hard times will come but I have some lessons learned from relapses.

I’m only safe from myself when I don’t drink or use. As long as I remind me daily that I’m still who I am no matter where I go, what good/bad may happen in life and that drinking won’t ever be a good idea again, I’m free!
