Sobriety has given me so much life back. This journey is the one I want forever. She is who I’d like forever with.

“Sometimes I lay in bed and think of all the things I love about you. I’m hollowed by the thought of losing just one moment with you. I promise you it won’t be like this forever. I promise you that I will do everything in my power to secure our empire. Being with you is the most precious gift I could never dream of. I could never paint the contours of your eyes with thought. I could never create the sound of your laugh with an idea. You’re love is so real it’s grounding. You are so ethereal. It’s a soul bond. One that I never knew was coming but it was always there. Your love is a love that waits patiently until it’s time. It protects until it can be released. Your love does just that. It has freed me. And all I want is to be on this path with you. - All my love, Jess”

I love this! We have to have self compassion in order to heal. We should love ourselves the way we wish someone else would. Beautiful! Thank you. I needed this today. I hope your doing well and staying strong and courageous!

I like this indeed.

I wrote a breakup letter to alcohol around 60 days. It was very cathartic.

Thank you :slight_smile: Sobriety and I have had our battles but in the end I know she’s always loved me and always will. And I love her too.
