AA/NA vs SMART

SMART tend to advise AA along side it anyway, at some stage I know that I will go, my coach has offered to take me when I’m ready

I’ve thought about checking out SMART too (I have the material and went through some). It’s always interesting to me to hear other’s takeaways. There’s a fair number of meetings around where I live.

Even more reason I should take advantage of this meeting! Does this mean you’ve been to a meeting before?

I have two available at the one centre but I’m sure there is quite a few where I am too

I recommend everyone check out SMART

The LifeRing meeting I attended did not serve coffee.

Blasphemy. How can anyone get sober without coffee?

Sadly, there are no SMART meetings in my state.

:crossed_fingers: hopefully that happens!

I think I’m going tonight, I’m not sure though, my mind isn’t in the best place

In my experience, that’s the best time to go. YMMV! :hugs:

There are no SMART meetings in The Netherlands.
Does anyone have experience with the Checkup& Choices program of SMART?
Thinking about buying the SMART workbook…
