Accountability/

I am just checking in for the weekend. I have been AF for a few days now. I am trying to do 90 AA meetings in 90 days. I am just here to share that in writing. I just think putting it in writing will help hold myself accountable this time. I never thought that AA would be for me but it is pleasantly not what I thought it was going to be. I am just grateful for today and that I have the choice ultimately to not wake up with a hangover and that I can be more present without my mind racing from hangxiety. Have a great weekend everyone. Today I will not drink

AA can still “not be for you” but you can still attend, especially at the timing you’re in. Thinking too much about whether AA is for us or not in the begining isnt helpful. The groups saved me, and I decided down the road to not continue, but i would never hesitate to go back.

One day at a time.

I can honestly say AA has saved my life. I attened a women only group twice a week. Give AA a chance because fellowship with others who have or still are sober will make a huge difference. I like your idea of writing for accountability. Whatever works best for you keep it going. Sobriety is an amazing journey!

That’s awesome! I do an AA meeting everyday, it definitely helps hearing others and connecting with like minded people.

My favourite meetings are…

Good for you for posting. What would be cool is if you share what one takeaway is from every meeting you hit. Id follow that thread
