Leave positive messages where you will see them regularly.

Well I am too late to do this today. I like the idea of it but right now I can’t think of what I would write that wouldn’t end up making me feel upset. Do “it will be ok” and “just get through it” count as positive messages?! Might get some funny comments at work though :see_no_evil:

Doin’t compare how you feel inside to how others appear outside.

I like that. I’m hoping to be able to work from home a bit more in my new job. I am going to turn my spare room back into a proper office again (rather than a place to gather dust!) and I think some interesting and thoughtful sayings would make a good decoration!

I really like watching the chickens. I know it’s a bit odd but I find it’s one of the things that just helps me be here now.

DAY 19

Think of a previous mistake you’re glad you made and why.

Hmmm I’m not sure about this. Any mistakes I can immediately bring to mind are ones that still pretty raw. I can see them as valuable learning experiences but I’m not sure I can go so far as to say I’m glad I made them.

DAY 20

Look at photos from a time with happy memories.

I’m not in the right head space for this at the minute. I am being here now and I would like to stay here!
