I would say just be careful not to fall into another addiction. I noticed with drinking I had meaningless hook ups because i was addicted to the adrenaline, the companionship & i felt lonely & sex was a cure for my codependency issues. You dnt want to replace one addiction with another.

Doing the right thing in the face of fear is courageous, it helps build strength, building strength builds confidence, and confidence diminishes fear.
