Almost 20 days No cocaine

Almost 20 days No cocaine. Was I even addicted to begin with? No withdrawal, no sickness, no relapse. What does this mean? I mean I got high 3-5 times a week for the last 2 years. Cocaine is not something I needed but wanted. What do this mean?

Absolutely amazing work on your 20 days just don’t fall into the age old trap of thinking you’re okay now, wasn’t addicted and next time it’ll be fine.

We’ve all been there :+1:

Just keep the thing, the thing. You quit for a reason, whether you decide you’re “addicted” or not, you wanted to quit. Remember why. Write it down. No one becomes less-addicted by going back to the DOC. There is not one redeeming quality for the human body that cocaine can bring. Why did you quit? Fear for health? Money? Getting in the way of your life?

Let us know. Lay it out here. For a refresher: Start here:

And here:

The forum is good for peer support and also a good way to look back on how you felt when you decided to quit. Too many times I got complacent, or sad, or stressed and skipped the part about revisiting my reasons and how it felt in the early days.

Congrats on 20. Keep it up. Don’t forget.

Good work…you dont need that stuff…its poison , waste of money & another one of the enemies lies…sobriety , AA & faith are a much better option
