I made it thru a 3 day weekend sober!! I cannot remember the last time where I did not blackout 1/2 the weekend! Also made it through a super stressful day at the office without picking up a bottle of wine… Another positive note, dizziness from head injury is done to a minimum and swelling has gone down so much! Almost feel like myself but it feels even better without the hangover :dizzy_face:. I hope everyone else is doing well!

Yep, That was the longest weekend I have had in a long time. It was good, and I accomplished so much that I have been putting off. I amazed at how much time I wasted getting drunk on the weekends

It felt good without spending a whole day recovering from hangover… I am glad you had a good weekend too! :innocent:

What a possitive post, keep it up!
Do you have a plan when cravings kick in?
Our minds are forgettings the negative parts of drinking after a while :hugs: I know mine did and that let me relapse. So be prepared for it when your injuries are healed and you are feeling good.

Hi there! Yes … know a lil dark but right before I headed to ER with injury I recorded myself… telling myself In this moment to remember how scared I was and if i don’t make a change I will die… Also, have my chart from ER visit on fridge and in my car… Told my mother everything and she has been great ! She is a RN just having her medical reminders has been awesome too! Know the cravings will come … had one today and cried all the way home but I made it home with no wine… thank you for reminding how important to have plan in place

Hey there. You good today? No stinking wine in the closet? It is hard to figure out your sober date since it says 4 days on your profile. Anyway happy almost first week Whitenoise(aka Whino). :smiley:

Yeah Im good and no wine in the closet lol Made it home and feel better already… Just been a day but tomorrow will be better :innocent: AKA sober Whino :upside_down_face:.
