I do enjoy a bit of Cassetteboy. Thanks for sharing.
Going to see these guys tonight. Itās definitely something that I am aware of being in the āold activitiesā box so feeling a little apprehensive.
Itās great youāre putting yourself out there and doing something in the āold activitiesā box. Iām sure youāll have a great time. Enjoy!
The other thing to think about is the novelty of being able to function normally the day after going to a gig and remember every detail!
This one both for the starter of this thread and for its main contributor for many months. Both disappeared from the the forum alas. Be well guys.
Thank you and of course you are/were right. It was pretty awesome. I had a moment where I hid in the toilets for a little bit but once The Magic Numbers came on, it was all good. Iāve quite the smug face now.
They left??
Thatās great! Virtual fist pump.
Iām afraid so. No idea why really.
Haha, lovely stuff Glad you enjoyed the gig. I was really apprehensive about going to gigs to begin with, worried I wouldnāt enjoy it. I donāt go to as many now, and Iām more picky about what I go to, but I still love live music and I actually remember the show now
Thank you. I think you are right in that I will also give more consideration to what gigs I go to. I adore live music too, and yes, this morning Iāve been able to go to work with the full knowledge of what happened. Unfortunately I am also fully aware of how bad a dancer/singer I am now.
Not really one of my all time favourite songs but the 24-hour Happy LA video was pretty rad IMO. And this my favourite part from it, as Magic was my idol when I started playing ball myself around 1980. And he remained just that, although my admiration for Bird has grown through the years as well.
Heās virtuoso playing that!!! What the hell is going on indeed.
