The other thing to think about is the novelty of being able to function normally the day after going to a gig and remember every detail!

Thank you and of course you are/were right. It was pretty awesome. I had a moment where I hid in the toilets for a little bit but once The Magic Numbers came on, it was all good. I’ve quite the smug face now.

Haha, lovely stuff Glad you enjoyed the gig. I was really apprehensive about going to gigs to begin with, worried I wouldn’t enjoy it. I don’t go to as many now, and I’m more picky about what I go to, but I still love live music and I actually remember the show now

Thank you. I think you are right in that I will also give more consideration to what gigs I go to. I adore live music too, and yes, this morning I’ve been able to go to work with the full knowledge of what happened. Unfortunately I am also fully aware of how bad a dancer/singer I am now.

Not really one of my all time favourite songs but the 24-hour Happy LA video was pretty rad IMO. And this my favourite part from it, as Magic was my idol when I started playing ball myself around 1980. And he remained just that, although my admiration for Bird has grown through the years as well.
