Anthem of the Day (Part 2)

One of my all-time favorite songs.

I also burst out laughing here.
At 1:18, there’s an incredible moment. Woman trying her best to play air piano along with Elton, eventually resigns herself to playing a different song altogether. Other woman sitting on the ground watching her, looking like “the fuck is this lady doing?”. Discount bin George Michael on the opposite side of air piano just totally in his own world. What a time.

Records at the beach?! You’re giving me heart palpitations over here. Very cool looking player tho, and a far better first record than mine. Keeping with the theme, it was Do the Bartman. I still have my original copy from 1990 (eek!). Gave it a spin this morning and was surprised I still pretty much know all the words haha.

@Hailstrom - Looks like a nice collection of vinyl- I’ve noticed CDs are coming back too. I’m a vinyl enthusiast as well.

@AllyP

It’s a mazzy star cover, and I saw the guitar and was like oh want, you can actually see me telling people about it in the comments.

And hope sandavol the original writer of this, ugh she’s like 53 and she’s still hot AF

I blame my terrible choices in women on 90s rock chicks :rofl::rofl:

Cheers dude. Yeah, I still have cds, mostly stuff that is hard to get on record or is too expensive for me. I’m not precious about what format I have of something, vinyl, cd, tape, whatever, I just like to have my own physical copy. Vinyl is my favourite tho. Looking forward to seeing what you have on your shelf :+1:

And Fred Armisen!!! This is pure gold!!! Thanks for sharing across!

And yes, 90s women were kick ass so I don’t blame ya!

I should have had this up when I was hiding in a closet under tornado warnings yesterday too! :tornado::metal:

Sweet dude. Me and my mates were massively into Sublime, I had most of those cds. Robbin’ the Hood is my favourite, those Raleigh Soliloquay tracks still crack me up ha :sunglasses:
