Anthem of the Day (Part 3)

For those on here around 60 years of age…

Something a little different tonight. My cousin gave me this tape in 1982 and I loved it. This is the last track off the Change of Heart Album by Positive Noise. At the time I was into Iron Maiden/Saxon/Motorhead but this opened my ears to electronic synth music. I ended up buying Human League Dare and Soft Cell Non Stop Ecstatic Dancing and Depeche Mode A Broken Frame. 1982 was 41 years ago!!!

Echo Beach is my fav track of all time. This 30 year old Anniversary version is so mellow.
Love it.

A friend went out in the woods today. Made me think of this one and one of the best TV series ever.

Beethoven’s 9th at Lowlands 2023. Magic. The best (known) part (with the choir singing Ode to Joy) begins at about the 32:00 mark or here: https://youtu.be/bQFIXT3pLqE?si=KJcNXxJVyz-ZLlu1&t=1920
But the whole concert is more than worth the hour of your time.

Just some local band to me.
Maybe tomorrow I’ll find my way home from all this alcohol abuse.

Most times when I’m driving in the country this song pops in my head.
