Anticipating a difficult day/night

I’ve started to realise that its my home and work life that’s triggering my drinking. Actually being in my flat! I’ve been to parties and other gatherings and I’ve had very little want and or need to drink or smoke. I’m going to a wedding this weekend and not expecting to have any real cravings. However come Sunday I’m anticipating a difficult day/night as that’s one of the days that I buy booze on the way home and drink/smoke all night! That then follows onto drinking the next two days! I’ve put a reminder in my diary to look at an online meeting sunday but its making that choice RIGHT at the point of either stopping at the shop or driving passed!

Need something more that a phone reminder? Can you commit to meeting someone or tie yourself into something positive that you’ll be really looking forward to? I’ve done the phone reminder thing… it’s easily dismissed. Let’s get this one done :muscle:
