You’re not alone. Welcome to Talking Sober  :innocent: Welcome to our crazy club

The journey from mess to success is a messy one. The good news is plenty of people have done it before you, and there is a path. It is possible.

Do you have a sobriety group you go to? AA or SMART Recovery or something along that line? I found that helpful in my journey.

There’s lots of good listening and reading here too (and a list of sobriety group options too):

You can do it. You need help and you have work to do. But you can do it. You are not alone.

I can relate to that, I isolated myself for a long time because I was scared to get hurt again.

You don’t have to do that here. I met some wonderful people on here and I highly encourage you to involve yourself on here.

I’ll promise you will not regret it.

Hope your anxiety becomes managable today, take care of yourself and don’t beat yourself up for feeling scared.

It’s only human.

Take care^^

Sorry you’re struggling. I think I originally started drinking to try and cope with it, and then after years it just put it off the charts. Much better now that I got sober, but it still pops up from time to time. Try and breathe through it, take a walk, podcast, workout, just try and do anything to get out of your own head. That’s where most of us get trapped.
Welcome to the community :v:
